Brian M Barnett is a former professional baseball player turned wrestler, promoter, and producer. After graduating from Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, Barnett was drafted by the Seattle Mariners but chose to attend college where he became an NCAA All-American in 2001. In 2002, he signed with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and was converted to a pitcher.

Barnett's baseball career was plagued with injuries, and he played for several organizations before ending his career with the Cincinnati Reds in 2007. He then transitioned to professional wrestling, performing under the name Tyson Tyler. Barnett worked with several organizations, including WWE, TNA, ROH, and AAA, and formed a tag team with Johnny Stamboli called The Network.

In addition to his wrestling career, Barnett has also made a name for himself in the wrestling industry as a promoter and producer. He founded Elite Xtreme Wrestling (EXW) with Derrick Neikirk in 2010 and later collaborated with Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW) to create the largest wrestling territory in the Southwest in 20 years. Barnett has produced over 100 live events, including TV programs and pay-per-view events.

Barnett is also known for his charity and political activism. He has worked with several organizations, including the Phoenix Children's Hospital and the Phoenix Boys & Girls Clubs, and was appointed to the Scottsdale City Council in 2015. Barnett has won four Phoenix New Times Best of Phoenix awards for his work in the wrestling industry.
